I heard this brilliant quote from a TikTok video recently. What more, it was narrated by an AI voice that sounded exactly like Cilian Murphy which made it, in my opinion even more impactful.
The words are pure poetry.
Sadly, I guess many of us today have learnt to attain love by licking them off knives.
That's when we join a gang to feel a false sense of brotherhood.
That's when we try too hard to fit in and impress people we don't even like.
That's when we go all in when we're attracted to someone although we know deep down it will never work.
That's when we get drunk at parties and think the people around you are your real friends.
That's when we don't cut ties with toxic people which can include your own blood.
That's why we love people who don't love us back.
