They Can Only See The Fire

Imagine 9/11 again.

The planes have crashed into the towers.

They have not collapsed. There are people trapped on certain floors.

There's fucking fire everywhere.

The people trapped are obviously frantic, scared and desperate.

They see no resucers. There is no firemen. There are no helicopters flying by to save them.

They can either jump, get consumed by the fire or wait for the tower to collapse.

Some choose to jump.

Because there's really no real option to live right?

---

Suicidal people are the ones who jump.

Why?

Because they can only see the fire in their life.

They see it slowly creeping in and swallowing everything. They believe that they will be burnt and they will become nothing.

Hence, rather than wait, they jump.

For they can only see the fire.

It's extremely easy for the rest of us to say, "Just seek help. Help is everywhere."

Or we can get mad at them even, because they didn't choose to seek help, which is considerably easy to do today with technology and stuff.

No.

They do not see their friends and family wanting to help. They do not see how huge the world is and that there is a life waiting for them. They don't even see their smartphones.

They can only see the fire.

So... what do you do?
