And admit that they fucked up.
It sounds simple enough, but it's sadly uncommon or even rare today.
When a person apologizes and admit their mistake, I usually instantly let it go on the spot. Anything bad that happened dissipates on the spot.
Perhaps that sounds naive of me as things in this complicated world aren't usually that straightforward.
But that said, if you do apologize, you already stand out with your humility.
