We all say that we’re too tired for the wrong reasons. We use it to hide the truth.

I’ve been guilty of this, and I am sure tons of y’all are too.

When my girl would ask me why I was being so moody, I’d simply that I was tired.

When someone asked why I wasn’t talking much, I’d say that I was tired.

When I kept making mistakes and fucking up in whatever, I’d say that I was too tired.

When I just didn’t want to try anymore, I’d say that I was too tired.

When I was afraid to tackle something, I’d say that I was too tired.

When my brain just couldn’t function well enough to articulate a proper answer for a sincere friend who truly wanted to learn something, I’d say that I was too tired.

Saying that you’re tired when you actually really aren’t is an excuse. It’s not a reason. It’s an excuse, for weak ass bitches.

So are you really tired, or are you just making shit up?

Truthfully, unless you’re functioning your day with only two hours of sleep the night before, ran ten rounds round the track, spent four hours at the gym, speed read three books or couldn’t sit down for eight hours straight, you’ve no reason to say that you’re really tired.

Wake up bitch.

Alden! This is so true, I’ve been in this situation a number of times previously.

If you want to lose weight and make a change, you WILL wake up at 5am no matter what, even if you fell asleep at 4am. This shows how badly you want something.

If you fall back asleep however, you might as well turn off all your alarms and stay in bed all day.

    Great post keep it up!
