How to find your passion: The easiest way
Yo guys,
If you guys read my blog I am pretty sure it’s easy to guess that passion is one of the themes because it’s fucking awesome and that I think it’s important to have it in life.
“Passion is that very thing in your body and soul that can take over within seconds. It burns with a fire so strong that you know it’s ‘right’.
Passion is always positive and it fills up that void in life that tells you ‘something is missing’.
Without passion, you cannot function properly. And you will never be able to live your life the way you want it to be.
~My definition
Speaking of living life the way you want to, I talked about getting out of the matrix, in which I emphasized finding and following your passion.
So simple, yet so far
Unfortunately, for a lot of people, they do not have passion. Or rather, they do have passion, but they haven’t found it yet.
I am lucky. I found out I love to write, especially fiction since school. Then I found Bboying. Fucking love them. They aren’t just mere activities I love. They helped shape my character and lifestyle outside of THEIR elements. That’s how passion is yo!
Now I am writing about passion, that’s fucking fantastic!
I don’t mean to sound all almighty and douchey because I found my passion. I just think it’s super important to know you have one.
Cause life is just too short to do shit you don’t even feel like doing.
So here’s my guide to it. Hope this shit helps:
1) What do you think you are good at?
Ask yourself that.
Do you have some sort of aptitude or affinity towards something? If you can think to yourself, “I think I am pretty good with this shit”, then that’s an excellent start already.
From there, just keep going at it. Embrace that shit and develop it further. The way I see it, when you are good at something, it means it’s easy. When it’s easy, it wouldn’t feel that bad. When it’s not that bad, it can be something fucking awesome.
2) What makes you feel excited?
When your trigger reaction to something makes you kind of excited and feel happy in the long run, that could be your passion calling out to you. Hell, just thinking about it could make you feel all awesome and tingly.
So if something you think actually makes you feel all crazy and makes you want to go ape shit over it (and it seems like only you and a select few are like that), then explore it further!
3) What makes you feel you belong to something else?
Passion is equal to identity. It makes you feel like you have a whole alter ego according to the passion you have subscribed to. Again, it isn’t just something you love doing, it’s something which gives you identity and something which shapes you to be who you are.
When something is so great it makes you feel you are set apart from the rest of the world, it could be passion calling out too. It’s not about being secluded into your own hole, it’s about standing out and feeling that immense sense of pride and joy in being yourself.
4) Try out all sorts of shit
Kind of a no-brainer here. Because you don’t know what your passion is yet, you also don’t know how other shit would feel like. You never know when something just totally “clicks” with you, as in to put it simply, makes you feel happy about yourself.
When I say, “try”, I really mean you got to on some level literally force yourself to TEST it out. It means actually NOT feeling like doing it in the first place. So be prepared to feel a little discomfort at the outset.
You know how they say, “Don’t judge a book by its cover”? Then try this out instead. I heard it from somewhere. “Don’t judge a book by its cover until you reach page 50″.
Your passion could be kite-flying or even gold farming in World of Warcraft, for all we know.
Remember, inspiration is free. Just keep trying.
Start with your mind, then try
4 points, and nothing more. That’s how I feel it should be. Ask yourself from points 1 to 3. Then apply with 4.
Passion is extremely fucking huge actually. It’s so huge it can stick to you for the rest of your life.
You just got to put in that little effort to find it. Then follow it through.
Trust me, it’s going to be worth it. When you stop asking yourself points 1 to 3, but instead get to TELL yourself those, and then you get to ask OTHERS that, that’s when you found your own passion.
Don’t worry. It’s just passion. It will be all good. Can’t go wrong with that shit.
Gary Vaynerchuk does it with Crush it . With that, passion actually does have a place in this practical world.

Where you wrote "Cause life is just too short to do shit you don’t even feel like doing"....that made me laugh. It reminded me of something Gary V said sometime last year or maybe earlier this year, which was: In 2012, there is no reason to do shit you hate.
For real man. Gary V is the bomb, one of the first books I read when I started blogging.
