Douchebags in Bangkok: Who fucking loves travelling?

Konichiwa bitches!

I guess you guys must have been thinking, “Where the fuck is Alden Tan? Has he given up on his dream?”. No to the latter. And I just got my ass back home from Bangkok! Omg! I love Thai girls~

Douchebags in Bangkok

So the question as the title of this entry: Who fucking loves traveling? Do I hear a resounding yes? I mean traveling is mostly super awesome as you get to explore a whole new country, meet new people, eat different food, absorb some culture and visit museums and other equally gay shit.

I am honestly not a big fan of traveling. I am pretty much a homebody and when things get too unfamiliar, it makes me kind of uncomfortable. I prefer to explore cities, shop and basically be guided. I am not so adventurous to think that getting lost in an unknown place is “cool and part of the fun”. Gay shit.

But yeah, traveling can be awesome too. Check this shit out I wrote:

Why traveling rocks

1) New place to explore– Yes exploring a new place is always cool. New spots, new buildings, new nature and landscapes and shit to look at. Some of which are just mindblowing.

2) Different culture to absorb– Just learning the ways of how the people are and how things work can be very interesting, and enlightening.

3) Meeting new people– Learning a new language, learning their ways is both inspiring and surprising. And Thai girls are super hot. The Thai gene pool, wow, magic inside.

4) Hotel– I think staying and sleeping in a hotel is pretty fun. Just chilling, eating and just being a bum. And someone cleans your room and you get fresh new towels! It’s all part of the package of traveling.

5) Cheap stuff– Well, that is if your money is stronger. You just feel like a king over there.

Why traveling fucking sucks

1) Getting lost– You may get lost during your “adventure” of exploring. I repeat, I don’t think getting lost is really part of the fun. If anything I would get annoyed. And if I still can’t find my way back to my hotel, I would panick and cry my balls out. When you are lost, not only does everything around look unfamiliar, but it looks fucking scary as shit!

2) Language barrier– If you don’t speak their language you are basically a lost bird. It gets kind of annoying after awhile. It feels like you have so much to say, so much awesomeness where you just want to express, but nobody is going to understand what the fuck you are saying. Dramatic? No. I was introduced to quite a few hot Thai chicks and I am like, “Oh fuck what am I gonna say?” I have never nodded my head in (not) understanding so many times in my life.

3) Passport Paranoia- Small issue? Maybe. But losing your passport is definitely the most fucked up thing that can happen to you. Then you think like, “Should I leave my passport in the hotel safe or bring it out with me?” This is moot. Should you decide to carry your passport around, you will be like, “Oh man what if I like lose it somewhere outside?” Then you got to keep tapping at your pocket constantly to check if it’s still there, bringing touching yourself to a whole new level!

4) Hotel- Unfamiliar sleep settings, makes you even more homesick. Possibility of haunted hotel, hence ghosts may visit you. My hotel was just weird. The fucking toilet sink wasn’t even in front of the mirror. And my bed shook sideways at night.

5) Depressing stuff- You know when you go to like a poorer country then you see beggars? Some all deformed, mutilated and shit? That’s just fucking depressing and makes you think about your own life, like stuff on the pursuit of things greater even than yourself. Then when you see a beggar, you actually wonder whether you want to give. Sure yeah, just give a little, it would help for sure. But then like your friends are like, “Oh fuck no man, if you do that  then you are helping the syndicates and shit!”. Sometimes this world is screwed up.

Hey there! This is kind of off topic but I need some advice from
an established blog. Is it tough to set up your own blog?
I’m not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty fast. I’m thinking about setting up my own but I’m not sure where to start. Do you have any points or suggestions? Cheers
