15 bullshit lies we tell ourselves to avoid whatever

1) “I’m too tired.”

No you’re not!

If you aren’t fainting on the spot, you’re not too tired. If you have had enough sleep, then there’s no excuse.

You only get to be tired after you gave your 200% or if you’re sick.

2) “I’m too ugly. Nobody loves me.”

Maybe somebody from where you’re at doesn’t think you’re pleasant to the eyes, but someone out there from a different part of the world definitely thinks so otherwise.

So it’s not about you being physically unattractive. It’s you psyching yourself out. You know you want to be loved.

If you think there’s room for improvement, then do what it takes to look better. Shed those extra fats or something. Other than that, have some confidence already.

3) “I’m too busy.”

Busy is bullshit. Everybody is busy today.

If you really want something, you’ll make that fucking time.

4) “I can’t do this unless somebody teaches me first.”

Lame!

For every new thing that came out out there, some dude did it on his own first. That’s how fucking inventions come about.

There’re plenty of resources online for you to facilitate your learning. So start being resourceful bitch.

5) I’m not feeling too well.”

Are you, really?

Or are you just being a little pussy shit who wants to get out of something?

Unless it’s something big, a little flu or cough isn’t going to kill you. So please find your balls and attach them back to you.

6) “I’m bored. There’s nothing to do.”

In the words of Louis C.K.:

louie-ck-bored

Maybe you should actually try to innovate your life before resting in the complacency of complaining.

7) “There’s something wrong with me.’

Maybe there is, maybe there isn’t.

Or maybe, you’re just too damn scared to actually face the truth that you don’t want to do the work that makes you brutally honest with yourself.

Learn to let shit go instead of saying it’s too hard.

Learn to move on from the past even though it hurts.

Learn to actually monitor your thoughts.

8) “I can’t get over him/her.”

Yes, you can.

Breakups hurt, but you’ll be fine. There exists a reality in the future where you’ll be better off with someone else.

Nobody can tell for sure when it will come, but embrace the fuck out of that uncertainty and enjoy the ride. That’s why dating is fun.

Or you can be a little crybaby who stays at home thinking your happiness depends entirely on one person only. That’s weak.

9) “It’s too hard.”

Fucking learn until it becomes easy then.

10) “I can’t help it that it’s in my genes.”

You’re still the owner of your genes.”

11) “It’s my parents’ fault.”

If you’re self-aware enough to start attributing some flaws to your parents, you’re self-aware enough to start taking responsibility to make some changes.

12) “I am not as good as them.”

So therefore you shouldn’t at least try? Bullshit.

Success is individual. Do the work, try shit out and you’ll discover that you’ll excel at something way more than others.

13) “I am one unlucky person.”

Bullshit. Luck is bullshit.

You’re just a coward who doesn’t dare to take on the world because everything is seemingly against you. Instead of taking it in your stride and brushing it off, you blame luck, and in turn yourself.

Then you give up and continue on with your sad life.

Perhaps it’s time you man up, change your mindset, take responsibility and create a better life for yourself?

14) “Everyone doesn’t like me.”

Or, “Everyone is against me”, or “I’m not good with meeting people.”

EVERYONE? Really?

Maybe you’re a little socially awkward, but that doesn’t mean the entire world’s population can’t click with you.

You’re probably surrounded by assholes too, so you need to dump their asses. Go find better people who appreciate you.

15) “It wasn’t really what I wanted anyway.”

Do you really feel that way or is that something you’re telling yourself because you fucked up?

Learn to accept the truth that you may have fucked up. Take responsibility for it.

That is how you steer clear of regret so you don’t rely on others to make decisions for you in the future.

Lies are lame man.

“Maybe you should actually try to innovate your life before resting in the complacency of complaining.”

One of the best single lines you have ever written!

Definitely “Nobody likes me” or “I’m not attractive enough”.

But then lately, I have been receiving dates from the opposite gender. So well, the negative statements were crushed.
